AC Milan Women Team, coached by Maurizio Ganz have secured a 2-0 victory against Fiorentina. 25-year-old Italian forward Valentina Bergamaschi scored the first goal of the game in the 22nd minute.
The second goal came in the 87th minute thanks to Tucceri Cimini. Fiorentina, on the other hand, worked hard in the second half and came close to finding an equaliser. However, their efforts were not enough to deprive the Rossonere of the full points.
Thanks to this victory, AC Milan Women Team get an important victory that has now allowed them to overtake Sassuolo in the Serie A standings.
After 18 games played, Milan have 37 points in third position while the Neroverde trail with one point behind in fourth position. Roma are second with 42 points while Juventus have 47 points after winning versus Inter 3-1.
