La Repubblica shared the words of Alessandro Costacurta which he entrusted to them in an interview. The former AC Milan player had much to say on different topics, including Italian football:

Costacurta added:
"Around minute 60 (against North Macedonia), 'I thought: why didn't he put Tonali on immediately? He failed to surprise, this time he didn't pull the rabbit out of the hat. The fact remains that I love him and would like him to stay."
