Graziano Cesari, former referee was asked to comment on the behavior of Ibrahimovic and Lukaku, in yesterday's derby between Inter and Milan, which is causing much discussion. This is what he had to say about the incident to SportMediaset:
"I think Valeri has made the right decisions. The warning was the right sanction for Ibrahimovic and Lukaku, their physical contact was not red, a non-violent head-to-head. Maybe he did not hear well and did not understand the words in a different language, he did not intervene on the verbal confrontation. He judged on the basis of what he saw."
"The referee's report will talk about yellow cards, in the case of Ibrahimovic with a second yellow card for the foul on Kolarov, and nothing else. It would be different if someone, a federal inspector for example, had heard something missed by Valeri and reported it. But given how the evening went on, with the complete return of the teams from the locker rooms, it doesn't seem like a probable hypothesis to me."
