AC Milan's directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, are tasked with the need to find the right profiles in the transfer market in order to strengthen the squad of Stefano Pioli. For next season, the squad needs to have more dynamism and firepower up front. That is why the Rossoneri management is seriously thinking about signing Real Madrid's Marco Asensio.
According to a report shared by those at Tuttosport, Milan could be faced with an important asking fee if they decide to go after the 26-year-old Spaniard. Real Madrid would ask for no less than 25 million euros to let their star leave (his contract runs out in June 2023).
AC Milan will also have to find an agreement with Asensio's entourage regarding the salary which would also be significant. In addition to that, there is competition from the Premier League to beat, in particular: Arsenal.
