AC Milan are fresh from a Coppa Italia semi-final loss against Inter in the return fixture. The Rossoneri team coached by Stefano Pioli conceded 3 goals. Lautaro Martinez scored a brace for himself in the first half while Robin Gosens scored the third goal in the 82nd minute.
The red and black side of Milano suffered a heavy defeat, therefore, and are working hard to recover their strength, focus and motivation to finish this season strongly.
The Athletic in a recent article have discussed the strengths of Inter club and talked briefly about the Rossoneri's issue that made them drop points and momentum this season.
James Horncastle of the The Athletic wrote the following when discussing Ismael Bennacer's disallowed goal against Inter:
"It isn’t the first time a decision has hamstrung Milan this season. The Atleti and Spezia games at San Siro come to mind. Ultimately, though, the one that has cost them the most is the decision not to sign a more decisive right winger/No 10 than Messias and Brahim."
