AC Milan keen on Sassuolo's star Domenico Berardi.
It has been widely reported recently that the Rossoneri club directors are on the hunt for a right-winger to reinforce next season's squad. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to add quality in that flank especially given the performances of Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers overall this season. Among the profiles discussed, there is Sassuolo's star Domenico Berardi.
The Italy international is 27 years old with a contract tying him to the Neroverdi club until June 2024. The left-footed player has 14 goals and 16 assists in 30 Serie A games so far.
AC Milan find competition from Napoli for Berardi:
This is according to yesteday's Il Mattino's newspaper. While Milan made some contacts with the winger's entourage, some Serie A clubs have registered their interest in him. There is Napoli who want to replace their star Insigne by signing the former Juventus player in the summer. AS Roma are reportedly also keen on him.
