AC Milan's right-winger, Alexis Saelemaekers, granted an interview to the microphones of Milan TV about the current form of the team and what to expect going into the final two games of the season, starting with Atalanta on May 15.

Here are the Belgian winger's words:

"When I start a match, I have to give everything for the team, for the fans, for this club. Then whether I play well or badly, that can happen in the life of a footballer, you can't always be at the top, but for me the most important thing is to give your whole heart on the pitch. If I can help the team in a certain way, I'm happy and will do it again in the future."

He continued:

"It was also important for us to keep this joking spirit, to feel good in the group. But when you're on the pitch it's important to stay focused, that's all we've done this year. There are two games left, we will try to continue like this, stay focused and give everything on the pitch to get what we have been fighting for during the whole season", said Saelemaekers. "I think we all remember the last games of last year: we were all together, focused, that's what made the difference and that's what we have to do again this year, maybe using last year's games as experience to get what we want."

On the game against Atalanta at the end of last season:

"It was a difficult match in a crucial moment, we had to stay focused and do the right things. Also this year, we know that Atalanta is a very strong team. We have to listen to the coach, I think we are ready. I saw a group that gave their all this week in training, they are ready for these two finals."

Saelemaekers and an interaction with a fan:

"A fan told me that everyone remembers the 5-0 defeat two years ago. I know it is an important match for us, there is this defeat that is not a normal defeat. For the fans it would be important to give everything and bring these three points, both in memory of that defeat and to get what we want, the Scudetto. I thank the fans, because they are exceptional, we will give everything to the end for them too."
