AC Milan's Brazilian winger, Junior Messias, granted an interview to those at Gli Autogol on their Twitch channel.
The Crotone loanee talked about his season so far with Milan and the current form:
"I had a pitch above my house in Brazil. Sometimes we fought as children to see who imitated Ronaldo the phenomenon. When I arrived in Italy, I started a delivery job and the company had a team: we did some tournaments. It was nice, on the weekend, after working, to have fun with friends. I ran and scored. I've never thought too far: I've always looked category by category. Then when I made the leap from D to B, I knew I could do it. In 'Eccellenza', and Serie D, there are bad fields and there is no VAR, they can lead you easily."
On signing for Milan:
"Milan is a dream that comes true. they are among the greatest teams in the world. A unique emotion after the journey I have made. It wasn't an easy deal but when my agent told me there was this opportunity, I was surprised."
On the atmosphere:
"For me, it's the Spanish guys who make a bit of a mess: Castillejo, Theo and Brahim. If I say that the coach puts the worst music, he doesn't let me play anymore: he listens to Italian music that is a bit romantic. Florenzi is even worse but he plays the music when everyone goes away. Who wins the Champions League? In my opinion, for the path that Real have made, they win. Then in a one-off match it's all to be seen."
Messias on his experience playing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
"He once kicked me in the face. Yesterday, he was 'charged up'. The first time I saw him we were eating together and he said to me 'You don't talk? I've never heard you say a word', and then he said: 'Good, because you just work'. The desire he has at the age of 40 is impressive. He is very good with whom he works and is committed, he always tries to help."
On the goal against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League:
"With Atletico it was a difficult moment, I was returning from injury. The goal was a really great emotion and a relief."
Messias on what the best match is for him:
"There are a few: for how we won against Lazio and Fiorentina. I'll tell you the truth, yesterday when Theo scored I got excited. I was focused and entered quite calm but with a lot of desire. When we got to the stadium, the fans gave us a great boost. We are very close to winning: it would really be a piece of history in a team like Milan, it's a unique thing. The strongest I've played with is Zlatan. As for the toughest I played against, then it's Cristiano Ronaldo."
