AC Milan are now with new majority owners: RedBird. Gerry Cardinale himself stated that the aim is to continue success on and off the pitch with the current club management.
Then, the message is clear through the official statement, the new ownership (with Elliott staying as minority investors with seats in the Board) wants to keep Paolo Maldini and his colleagues to continue leading the club.
This brings us to the question of renewals which the club's technical director should address soon.
According to Corriere della Sera, besides Rafael Leao (whose agent refused the first proposal sent by the club) there are 4 more players on the directors' agendas.
As per the Italian newspaper, AC Milan want to protect their interests by putting new contracts on the table to their 4 players who are Sandro Tonali, Ismael Bennacer, Fikayo Tomori, and Pierre Kalulu. The next weeks and months should bring us more updates about these fronts.
