According to the latest news brought by Italian media outlet SportMediaset, there is a peaceful atmosphere between Gerry Cardinale and Paolo Maldini. In fact, there will even be further contacts between the club's executives and the technical director as well as his colleague Frederic Massara who is the sporting director. The aim is to renew both their contracts soon.
As per different reports, Gerry Cardinale's meeting with Paolo Maldini is ongoing to highlight the focal points of the club's strategy going into the market. There should not be crazy spending sprees, like spending 80 million euros on one player. But instead, signings will be carefully and well executed aimed to add much quality to the team within reasonable fees.
As for Gerry Cardinale's agenda in Italy, he may be returning to the United States of America shortly, as early as tonight.
