As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, there is a sensational news on the Leao front: the Portuguese has decided to change agent and to rely on a French lawyer who is linked to his father.
As per the newspaper, the Portuguese left-winger signed the agreement last March. However, contacts with super agent Jorge Mendes do not stop. There are heavy penalties in case of farewell. All this leads to chaos in the negotiations for the extension with the Rossoneri club, due to the presence of two figures next to the player, not in close relations with each other.
This, however, could also be an advantage for AC Milan, as a potential buyer would have to solve the Sporting problem, pay the Rossoneri a golden weight and tackle the problem with agents, one of whom is not really familiar with the negotiations and procedures. It will be a long summer for Rafael Leao.
