The Athletic explain how there are several exits to be done this summer for Liverpool and one of them is AC Milan's Divock Origi, whose farewell is already announced today officially by the club.
The Belgian forward "is set to join AC Milan" following the end of his contract. As per the English outlet, he will be the player missed the most by the fans in the released list of Liverpool.
He is a cult hero at Anfield thanks to his clutch goals which he has scored since agreeing a £10 million move from Lille in 2014.
Origi, though, did not make enough appearances in the 2021-22 season to automatically trigger a renewal to his contract. But, all parties involved at the club were in agreement that parting ways made sense at this stage of his career.
"Origi would have remained the ideal impact player to bring off the bench but the Belgian striker wants regular first-team football and Klopp can't guarantee him that", concluded The Athletic.
