AC Milan intend to renew contracts of key players who are highly valued by the club managers and team coach. After the Scudetto victory, the aim is to keep the players satisfied and also make the core of the lineup remain.

Rafael Leao, for example, intends to stay with the Rossoneri but he is asking for a post-tax salary of 7 million euros per season.
As for Ismael Bennacer, an agreement had been already reached for 3.5 million euros salary per season plus bonuses until June 2026. However, the Algerian blocked everything because he wants to see if a new ownership would give him more money or not.
