AC Milan management and Sampdoria have met yesterday to talk about the transfer market and a possible scenario. The player who is highlighted in the negotiations is 22-year-old central defender Matteo Gabbia.
There is an issue, however, as the Rossoneri managers do not really want to let Gabbia leave on loan because he is a home-grown player, therefore useful to the question of UEFA and league lists.
According to what is reported by Il Secolo XIX, Sampdoria would have liked to conclude the deal quickly and present the centre-back to coach Marco Giampaolo on the basis of a temporary transfer. But, that is not the only player who catches the interest of Sampdoria. In fact, they have asked for information on AC Milan young centre-forward Lorenzo Colombo.
