AC Milan club honorary Vice President Franco Baresi has spoken to the microphones of Carlo Pellegatti's YouTube channel about the partnership of Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu in the latest season:
"AC Milan won this year above all thanks to the defense which suffered little. The central players played extraordinary games. Kalulu was a positive surprise, with physical qualities and speed and with Tomori, they formed an extraordinary pair."
Franco Baresi added:
"Milan played man against man at the back when going forward to attack and this was very useful."
On Calhanoglu's words about Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
"Ibrahimovic is an incredible character. His return was fundamental, for his personality and in transmitting confidence to the team that has grown enormously. The team achieved this result also thanks to him. Ibrahimovic has left his mark and now they can continue alone."
