Ante Rebic has an uncertain future with AC Milan. The last season, as the Rossoneri won the Scudetto, was difficult for the former Eintracht Frankfurt due to injuries but also because of the great form displayed by Portuguese star Rafael Leao.
After two positive campaigns in Rossonero, the Croatian forward managed to collect only three goals in 29 appearances overall. Now, it cannot be ruled out that he exits the club in the summer's transfer market window.
According to Corriere dello Sport , if Milan were to buy one of the attacking midfielders that have been talked about a lot in recent days (Asensio, Ziyech or De Ketelaere), Rebic would be the number one candidate to leave Milan.
In that area of the field, there would be simply too many and therefore, it is necessary for a player to leave.
Furthermore, the arrival of Origi would also block the possibility of seeing the 28-year-old player, Rebic, in the role of a centre-forward, as we have already been used to on several occasions. In that role he would become the fourth choice behind Giroud and Ibrahimovic.
