The former AC Milan legendary coach, Arrigo Sacchi, spoke to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport in which he had his say on the next Serie A season.
"I see Inter ahead. From a technical and experience point of view, for me, even in the last championship, they were the strongest. Then Milan won, with merit, but the values remain."
On AC Milan:
"They are there, fighting for the title but on one condition: that they quickly forget what they did, a kind of miracle, and go to work to try to improve and fill those gaps highlighted in the last championship. They start from the enthusiasm for the scudetto won, and this is a good dose of energy, but woe to them if they feel they have arrived."
Sacchi on Paulo Dybala still being a free agent:
"I recommended him to Berlusconi when he was still at Palermo. He is an excellent player and can be very useful, as long as he makes himself available to the project in which he is included. The important thing, beyond the names, is that the public understands a fundamental rule: the club, with its history and style, comes before the team and the team comes before the individual. An example? Angiolino Colombo, in three years with Milan, has won more than Maradona, and I say this not to denigrate the immense Diego, but to explain that the group is worth more than the champion."
