AC Milan are really keen on Charles De Ketelaere and are trying to approach the demands of Club Brugge. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara like the player a lot and want to present him to coach Stefano Pioli as the newest summer addition soon.
The Rossoneri's latest offer was sent, it was set at 27 million euros plus bonuses. But, Club Brugge deemed the offer not enough. However, there are some positive signs which make Milan optimistic to close a deal over the weekend, writes Calciomercato.com.
In fact, as per the Italy-based newspaper, De Ketelaere is only waiting for Milan, with whom he already has an agreement for a 5-year contract. He continues to reject the idea of playing for Premier League side Leeds United. The club directors Maldini and Massara, on the other hand, are now aware that they have to get closer to the offer of Leeds United (37 million euros, bonuses included). The AC Milan club is in fact planning to send an offer of 30 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses. The next few hours will be very important, we are in a hot phase and De Ketelaere is getting closer to joining the red and black faithful.
