Tuttosport writes today that AC Milan are seriously working and considering to make a financial sacrifice and exception in order to give Rafael Leao an important salary, so he can renew his deal with the club and remain there. His current contract with the red and black faithful expires in June 2024 and he has a release clause of 150 million euros.
As per the Italian newspaper, the new offer of the Rossoneri to Leao's camp could be around 6 million euros net per year.
Also regarding Leao, the latest news regarding his legal dispute is that Lille has challenged the sentence that says a compensation must be paid to Sporting Lisbon (either by club or player). In this way, in fact, the compensation can be considered frozen until further notice.
