Il Corriere della Sera reminds us that Gerry Cardinale and the rest of the AC Milan world is awaiting the closing with Elliott Management Corporation in order to see RedBird Capital Partners become officially the majority share owners of the Rossoneri club. This is likely to happen in September.
Right now, Gerry Cardinale is on holiday in Saint-Tropez (with Miami FC owner Riccardo Silva who is a close friend of Paolo Maldiin and a known Milan fan). The future owner of the AC Milan, Cardinale, will not be attending the Serie A opener against Udinese at the San Siro. But, his presence is likely in the derby against Inter on 3 September.
