AC Milan loanee Daniel Maldini who is now at Spezia has spoken about leaving the red and black faithful. He had those words to say, as relayed by Il Corriere dello Sport website:
"It is difficult to leave home but I needed to play and find new motivations. We are trying to raise the bar more and more to be more competitive each time and earn important points."
On already scoring with Spezia against Como in Coppa Italia:
"We don't have time, we need to get off to a great start. The sooner we do it, the better. The Coppa Italia has seen some teams come out, nobody wants to lose but we'll do our best."
He added:
"I decided to come to La Spezia also for this, to find more minutes and continuity. Now we are working together with the group, I hope to find the correct physical form soon."
