AC Milan central defender, Fikayo Tomori, has granted the following words to the microphones of Milan TV following the draw against RB Salzburg in matchday 1 in the Champions League group E:

"It was a match like we thought it would be. They are strong on pressing, fast in front, they know how to go deep. I think we played well, we could have done better obviously, but a point here is difficult to take. So we are happy, but we can do better."

Milan conceded first, but never gave up:

"If we are at a disadvantage we can recover and reassemble. It is better not to concede a goal, but we do not put our heads down when we go under in a result."

Tomori on the group which seems now more complicated than previously thought:

"We knew it was going to be difficult. Taking a point in Salzburg is good. We played well, but not at our level. The next game, against Dinamo Zagreb, we have to do better and yes, we can qualify."
