AC Milan management continues to think about the situation of the goalkeepers with the recent and unfortunate injury of Mike Maignan. Ciprian Tatarusanu has been now included in the Champions League list to replace the Frenchman.
The Romanian goalkeeper, former player at Olympique de Lyon and Fiorentina, was left out initially because he is not home-grown in Serie A.
For this reason, the goal is to find a goalkeeper, preferrably an Italian one, to work with Maignan in the future, writes Calciomercato.com. Tatarusanu and Mirante are 37 and 39 respectively with expiring deals and a younger alternative is needed. As reported already by Milannews.it, Pietro Terracciano is the target for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
As per Tuttosport today, the 32-year-old goalkeeper in question has difficulties regarding the renewal with Fiorentina. His deal expires at the end of the season and AC Milan would like to land him on a free.
