AC Milan head coach, Stefano Pioli, has spoken to the microphones of Amazon Prime Video. Here are his words:
"Giroud Said there have been many small mistakes... True, then after calling them small mistakes it depends on the situations. We didn't start badly, but above all we forced our choices We have lost a bit of distance. We could have done something more."
Pioli on the errors:
"Little experience or who was not there is not involved: we had to be more lucid and precise. In ball recovery and management we were less effective."
Milan lost focus after the second goal...
"I agree, the second goal changed our mentality. It's not easy, we weren't able to remain as team as we usually do: at these levels you pay dearly for it."
On the changes made, Pioli said:
"Because I need to give minutes to those who come back from injuries and I need to rest those who are playing a lot. in this very busy moment I thought it was the right choice."
