Ivan Gazidis will leave AC Milan on December 5. The CEO who was chosen by Elliott Management Corporation 4 years ago said these words to the Rossoneri fans and club:
"After four wonderful, challenging years I will be leaving Milan. I owe so much to this Club, its people, its fans and to this city, that literally saved my life... I want say a personal thank you to our fans. Our fans have carried their Club (and me) through some difficult times through their belief and their strength. I will hold in my heart forever the way they showed their support to me when I was not well. They deserve every good thing. I may leave the Club, but the Club will never leave me."
According to what is reported by Milannews.it, among the profiles being examined by RedBird for the role of CEO at AC Milan to replace Ivan Gazidis, there is the name of Giorgio Furlani. Furlani is already a member of the club board and he is a portfolio manager of Elliott Management Corporation. A decision should arrive in the coming weeks.
