AC Milan's centre-forward, Olivier Giroud, has all of his focus on the World Cup competition in Qatar. He spoke to Le Parisien in order to express himself. Here are his words:
"I've been in the national team for eleven years now. My competitive spirit constantly pushes me to do more. I thirst for victories and trophies. At my age, being able to be so decisive and feel good is a real joy."
Two more goals to reach Henry's record with 'Les Bleus'...
"Beating Titi's record would be a bonus, but the main objective is to go as far as possible with the team and contribute to it. But then, if I can get close to him..."
Giroud added:
"I don't set myself limits, I said it could be my last competition, but I don't want to announce anything. I will play until my body says stop."
