According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper the goal of the Rossoneri medical staff is to make him available to the Milan coach for the first official match of 2023, scheduled for January 4 at Salernitana's home.
As per the report, Maignan did not play in Tuesday's friendly against Arsenal and will not take the field again tomorrow in the second friendly match. He will not also be risked even in the last friendly before the resumption of the championship scheduled for the end of the month against Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven. Maignan will only play once he is fully recovered from his injury.
