AC Milan continue to work hard as they plan the renewal of 24-year-old midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The will of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara is to make a significant effort in terms of increasing salary in order to convince the star to put pen to paper.
According to the latest news reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in today's print edition, there were a few dialogues between the club management and the player in Dubai regarding the contract extension issue.
Ismael Bennacer has an overseas-only release clause of 50 million in his contract. He is liked by Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. These are the three clubs that have had some contacts with those who manage the former Empoli midfielder.
AC Milan, for their part, however, say they are confident about Bennacer's renewal which could reach figures similar to those currently earned by Theo Hernandez after his last renewal this year: around 4 million euros net per season plus bonuses.
