AC Milan's French defensive midfielder, Tiémoué Bakayoko, has not played one minute in an official game this season. He is simply out of the plans of head coach Stefano Pioli. He is spending his 2nd consecutive season on loan at the San Siro and this experience has not been fruitful at all for the red and black club.
The latest news report arrives from the Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath who writes that the former Monaco star is eyeing up another move.
According to the report, Bakayoko is in talks with AC Milan to terminate his loan contract with them (which expires in June 2023) while Chelsea are willing to let him move to another club on a free transfer despite his contract with them which runs until June 2023.
In other Milan news, the club has identified who should replace Ante Rebic if he leaves.
