AC Milan's market for the January month is very slow. Only 24-year-old goalkeeper Devis Vasquez has been signed. From Paolo Maldini's words, the fans should not expect a lot this winter. But, things may change in the next summer transfer window.
During one of the very first meetings with technical area director Paolo Maldini, the owner of Redbird Capital Partners Gerry Cardinale, immediately wanted to reassure everyone on the fact that the transfer market will first and foremost be made in the summer. Secondly, the focus will be on a new striker.
The need already exists today, but as mentioned, the offensive department will hardly be touched during this mercato session. One of the hottest names at Casa Milan for the summer transfer window is that of Jonathan David, a Canadian versatile and impressive striker born in 2000 who is currnently at Lille.
Jonathan David is not the only name being followed. In fact, the club is also keen on French attacker Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt and Chelsea's centre-forward Armando Broja (currently out due to a long injury at Chelsea), as per Calcio Style.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are facing the risk of losing this young talent on a free!
