Paolo Maldini, in his interview to Bein Sport spoke about AC Milan's appeal in the mercato and competing with clubs like PSG, Liverpool, and Manchester city who have a lot of money to spend:
"Apart from Juve and Inter, Milan are not at the same level even if we are first it takes 2 more years in the chamions league to have a competitive team. Ac milan has been playing for 8 years without Champions League football and the economic level is something that has an impact."
