Last summer, AC Milan secured the services of Divock Origi, the striker who had run down his contract with the Premier League stalwarts, Liverpool. However, despite the Belgian’s arrival on a free transfer, his impact on the field has been restrained owing to persistent fitness concerns. After featuring in 22 fixtures, with a mere 720 minutes of playing time, Origi has only managed to muster two goals and one assist for the Rossoneri faithful.

In a recent TikTok video shared by 11teamsports featuring Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mané, the subject of Divock Origi was broached. The Senegalese winger, who had previously shared the dressing room with Origi at Liverpool, lauded his former teammate as the best finisher he has ever played alongside. It is noteworthy that Mané formed part a lethal attacking system with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino at Liverpool and he now plies his trade with the likes of Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala, and Thomas Muller with Bayern Munich.

Origi’s performances in England have earned him a cult following among the Anfield faithful. The Rossoneri supporters, however, have yet to fully witness the striker’s prowess, but they remain optimistic that the Belgian will feature prominently in the team's quest for a top 4 finish in the league and in the Champions League journey alongside fellow forward Olivier Giroud.
