Jonathan David, central forward of Lille, has been linked with the Rossoneri as a possible reinforcement for Pioli's attacking department for the next season. However, the amount requested by Lille is a problem for AC Milan: according to the Spanish newspaper Sport, the French club is asking to receive a fee that is around 50 million euros, a request that would also have pushed out Spanish club FC Barcelona, a team which David supports.
In addition to the big amount, the Spanish source also speaks of strong interest from two German clubs, namely Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, who have greater financial resources than AC Milan, as relayed by MilanPress.it.
