AC Milan could not capitalise on Inter drawing against Salernitana 1-1 yesterday. The team of Stefano Pioli could not also carry on with their momentum after their 4-0 stunning victory against Napoli at the Maradona stadium.
La Gazzetta dello Sport shared the following ratings regarding Stefano Pioli's team following the disappointing goalless draw at the San Siro stadium against Empoli.
The best player on the pitch for AC Milan was Sandro Tonali for his workrate in midfield. He has a rating of 6.5. Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, Tommaso Pobega, Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Alessandro Florenzi, Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao were all given ratings of 6. They obviously could have done better as a better contribution was expected from all of the players.
Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez were granted ratings of 5.5 while Algerian Bennacer had a 5. Ante Rebic was granted a 4.5 for a very weak performance.
AC Milan's forward, Divock Origi, who started yesterday from the first minute had a mediocre outing. He received a rating of 4.
Charles De Ketelaere and Mike Maignan: N/A.
