AC Milan and Salernitana are in talks and exchanging ideas. Both clubs have players that are of interest to each other and are already thinking ahead to the summer transfer window.

With both clubs focused on achieving their respective seasonal objectives, Milan and Salernitana could open up a genuine transfer market channel. On Tuesday, prior to the Rossoneri's match with Napoli, the sporting director of Salernitana, Morgan De Sanctis, appeared at Milan's training ground, where he had a chat with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, writes Calciostyle.it.

During the meeting, the transfer market topic was touched upon several times, with interests from both sides. AC Milan, in particular, has set its sights on two players from the Granata team. The first is Pasquale Mazzocchi, an Itaian 27-year-old versatile right-midfielder who can also play higher up the pitch or as a right-back. He had a sensational first half of the season before a mid-November injury hampered his performance.

As a player with good technique and temperament, he could be a luxury backup for the Rossoneri, who are also hunting for forwards to renew their attacking department for the upcoming season. That's why Maldini and Massara may also consider Boulaye Dia. The Senegalese striker is on loan from Villarreal, but Salenritana will redeem him for 12 million euros. Danilo Iervolino's club will consider the possibility of selling him (taking into account the player's desire to play in the Premier League), but they will certainly aim to monetize his exit.

A Rossoneri player, or perhaps two, could also be involved in the deal between Milan and Salernitana. The strongest name is undoubtedly Yacine Adli. The Algerian attacking midfielder was already coached by Paulo Sousa, now in charge of Salernitana, and would be happy to reunite with him after their experience together at Bordeaux.
