Juventus lost against Napoli 1-0. The Rossoneri fans obviously hoped that their team would take advantage of this to further their escape at the top of the league table and keep the Bianconeri away as well as Inter who will play against Lazio.
Unfortunately, that was not the case. AC Milan lost 2-0 away against Spezia. Coach Pioli was asked during an interview with Sky Sport if there is regret on not taking advantage of Juventus' loss (you can find the full version here)
“There is regret for not having put on a performance of our standards. None of the team players succeeded and neither did I, it is a match that must be archived. We have to go back to playing as we know.”
