AC Milan are getting closer to signing Daichi Kamada on a free transfer.

The player is ready to bid farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt and start fresh elsewhere. As reported by Calciomercato.it, the 26-year-old midfielder has decided to accept the offer from the Rossoneri, saying yes to a four-year deal which would guarantee around 3 million euros net per season.

It's a real bargain for AC Milan considering the significant competition from Benfica, Liverpool, and Atletico Madrid, who still hope to change the Japanese player's mind. This task is truly complicated; however, Kamada has given his word, but it's clear that as long as the signatures are not in place, there will always be a glimmer of possibility.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara hope to sort everything out immediately and see Kamada arrive in Milan between Monday and Tuesday for medical examinations and contract signing before his departure to Japan.

Just recently, as reported by Calciomercato.it, there was a new contact, a conference call, between the parties to resolve one last obstacle related to bureaucratic issues with the agents' position. AC Milan would like to put everything in writing right away, without waiting for Kamada's return after his commitments with the national team, but the risk of this happening now is indeed substantial.
