Stevan Stojanovic, former Red Star Belgrade's goalkeeper, spoke about the match against AC Milan in the Europa League.
These are his statements to the official channels of the Serbian club:
“A prediction? I have never liked to predict the result, nor the outcome of the match. But the players who wear the Red Star jersey must be aware that our club is on par with Milan. Sometimes we have a better team, sometimes worse, but we are like a club at the level of great Europeans."
"I am sure that Milan will not underestimate us, because they remember well that it has never been easy to face us before. They know who we are and will certainly come out with all due respect in front of Dejan Stanković's team."
"Fear? Never be afraid of your opponents. They will always do their best. A club with such a reputation is interested in every competition they enter."
On Dejan Stankovic, coach of Red Star:
"He is a great coach. We know what he represents, especially in Italy. He knows the Italian style of play well and knows Milan very well . I am sure he will pass on the right advice to our players. Red Star did not arrive by chance at this stage of the competition. I don't want to talk about the quality of the individuals, but we certainly have players that can hurt AC Milan."
