La Gazzetta dello Sport dedicated a headline to AC Milan's attempt to sign a new central defender in the name of Marco Pellegrino:
"AC Milan plays the ninth."
The ninth acquisition by the Rossoneri should be Platense's Argentine centre-back who is a left-footed talent with an Italian passport.
According to the newspaper, the two clubs are finalising the details in the last few hours before the transfer to AC Milan takes place.
