The transfer market window is still ongoing and the AC Milan club management want to search for another forward, according to the latest news.

La Gazzetta dello Sport point out that the Rossoneri have two number 9s up front, besides Lorenzo Colombo who is set to leave on loan. Olivier Giroud is the classic prototype poacher who is ideal to play in the penalty area and poach goals from close range while Okafor has different characteristics and likes to drift wide. Therefore, the club wants to introduce a new striker to the team who can rotate with the French veteran.

The most popular names are Armando Broja from Chelsea, and Hugo Ekitike from PSG. For the first one, born in 2001, the uncertainty lies particularly in his physical condition: the Albanian hasn't played since December when he ruptured his knee ligament. As for the French player born in 2002, there's competition from Germany and reluctance from Parisians to agree to a loan solution, which might happen differently for Broja.

In the last few hours, additional profiles have surfaced that would have come into Milan's orbit. One is Iranian Sardar Azmoun, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen: German outlet BILD has already reported an agreement between the Rossoneri club and the player, but there's still nothing concrete. The player has been proposed, but Milan prefer other paths. A more realistic alternative, yet still without official interest, is Luka Jovic from Fiorentina. The Serbian player has had inconsistent performances with Viola: for Milan, which is on the hunt for goals, his scoring average in the league from 2019 to today is not promising. Just 13 goals scored in the last 4 years.
