The issue of AC Milan's Mehdi Taremi deal is now centre of attention of the media. The Iranian player was very close to joining the Rossoneri management. However, it seems that there are hurdles which may not be solved in time.
According to what is reported by Record, Taremi has decided to reject the proposal of AC Milan after having already an initial agreement between the clubs. The number 9 will therefore remain at Porto until the end of the season when his contract expires.
In fact, Taremi had even agreed with FC Porto to waive 15% of his transfer fee which he is entitled to if there had been a successful deal, but he was disappointed to not have been informed about the operation, a situation for which he blames the agents who were close to him and offered him to several clubs. He was also proposed the same salary he earned at Porto (1.5 million euros per year).
AC Milan, even after being contacted by Jorge Mendes, decided not to improve their offer regarding the salary. In fact, they will turn to alternative plans now.
