AC Milan's American right-winger Christian Pulisic, granted an important interview to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport. Here are his words:
"Love at first sight for Milan fans? Yes, it was love at first sight for me too, especially when I saw the fans. I had never encountered a passion like this before. The first match, in Bologna, was a great evening. And the warm-up of the first match at San Siro, as I walked out, I raised my head and saw all those fans. Beautiful. I've played in some of the best stadiums in the world, but San Siro is one of the most impressive. I also remember the atmosphere when arriving at the stadium as an opponent, with Chelsea. It was incredible."
Pulisic continued:
"I've only had one conversation with Cardinale, he told me he was thrilled to have me at Milan, and for me, it's the same. Leao is already one of the best players in the world, on that flank with him and Theo, we are very strong. I enjoy playing with them a lot. Giroud impresses me because he always scores, he's always in the right position. We get along very well on the field. And then he's a fantastic person. Loftus-Cheek is a very strong player, I know him well."
Pulisic continued to talk about more of his teammates, like Tijjani Reijnders, Yacine Adli, Pierre Kalulu and Rade Krunic:
"Reijnders has great skill with the ball, he's special. For me, he's top-notch, a player of the highest level. Adli entertains me, Kalulu is the quietest, Krunic is the smartest on the field. Pioli tells you his opinion firmly, and I like that, it's what I look for in a coach."

On the derby, Pulisic said:
"Inter is strong and it's difficult to play against them. They know how to defend very well with a low block and at the same time, they have the quality to score on the counterattack. My goal is to score, like for any forward. Or to provide an assist, which is always nice. I'm looking forward to playing the derby and the Champions League. We've started off great, I know we'll do our best, and I want to win. We're confident about the Scudetto, we have strong players, excellent players have arrived, there's a great mix of talent. We can win."
On life at Milan:
"The culture here is very different from London, in some things, in Italy, the pace is slower and I really like that I can have sunshine every day. The Italians... well, they don't speak English so well, but they are very kind, they always help me, they are very friendly. Where do I live? Let's say in an area halfway between Milan and Milanello."
Pulisic added:
"I'm introverted, I'm certainly not the most outgoing person in the world. I like to be on my own, relax, do my things. There's one thing I make an exception for: I'm hyper-competitive. I want to be more open, more extroverted, maybe speak in Italian. Italy will help me with that."
