AC Milan's French versatile defender, Pierre Kalulu, underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It revealed a small injury to the rectus femoris muscle in his left thigh.
The French defender, who will be re-evaluated in about ten days, will therefore be missing tomorrow's derby clash at the San Siro.
Besides tomorrow's fixture, Kalulu should be also missing the matches against Newcastle, Verona and Cagliari, as per Milan News.
he hope is that he can be available again for the subsequent league match against Lazio on September 30. However, obviously, the recovery timeline will depend on the progress that Kalulu will make regarding his muscle issue.
