AC Milan head coach, Stefano Pioli, is reportedly thinking of new ways to be able to get back to winning ways with this current team he has available.
According to latest updates, in one of the recent training sessions at Milanello, Pioli has opted to test a three-man defence. In fact, it is not yet really clear if he will be deploying this new formation module in tomorrow's match against Hellas Verona.
What is certain is that he was seen trying out the 3-4-3 formation with the defensive trio composed of Simon Kjaer, Malick Thiaw, and Fikayo Tomori, supported on the flanks by Yunus Musah on the right and Alessandro Florenzi on the left. In the midfield, there were Rade Krunic and Tijjani Reijnders.
For tomorrow's match, the attacking trio could be composed of Samuel Chukwueze on the right, Rafael Leao on the left, and Okafor as the central forward to give Giroud a rest.
