AC Milan closed the 2022/23 fiscal year with a profit of 6.1 million euros, a result that had been missing for 17 years at the Rossoneri headquarters. Several factors contributed to the company's financial performance, with record revenues exceeding 400 million euros. These included TV rights (boosted by their performance in the Champions League) and increased commercial revenue compared to the 2021/22 season.

In this specific case, the figure exceeded 80 million euros, an increase of about 23 million compared to the previous season. This increase was primarily driven by higher revenues (22.4 million euros) linked to "the signing of new contracts with major commercial partners valid for both the 2022/23 season and subsequent seasons".

Calcio e Finanza has discusses AC Milan's earnings from their sponsorhips. According to the sorce, Fly Emirates paid €16.2 million to place its brand on the front of the shirt (€15 million in 2021/22), while Puma paid over €14.5 million (€15.5 million in 2021/22).

These figures will increase from the 2023/24 season as a result of new contracts signed with both parties, which provide for higher fees. The agreements, which were announced during the previous season, came into effect on July 1, 2023, and are expected to bring 30 million euros per season into the club's coffers each (here are the details on the new agreements with Emirates and Puma, the official figures for which will be available with the next financial statement).

Sponsorship revenue is also supplemented by €49.3 million (€26.8 million in the 2021/22 financial year) for revenue from the sale of multi-product promotional packages to commercial partners, including:

Banco B.P.M. S.p.A.
Goat & Partners L.t.d.
HDR Global Trading L.t.d. - €4.7 million
ISG Interregional Sport Group L.t.d.
Konami Digital Entertainment - €7.2 million
One Football Gmbh - €6 million
Skrill L.t.d.
Socios Technologies AG.
Sorare S.a.s. - €2.5 million
Tianyu Technology Inc.
WeFox Italy S.r.l. - €4 million (retrosponsor)

Finally, for Milan, there are just over €600,000 related to "fees arising from contracts with institutional sponsors, official and technical suppliers and commercial partners, on the basis of which the parent company grants its sponsors the right to use the qualification of 'Official Supplier', 'Official Partner', 'Institutional Sponsor' and for promotional purposes'".
