Michele Criscitiello, director of 'SportItalia', analysed the current situation of the AC Milan team which is led by Stefano Pioli. In his editorial he suggested that the Rossoneri team must hire Antonio Conte for the next season. Here are his words:
"AC Milan has clear and objective shortcomings. Consideration: Pioli is an excellent coach and has been a great transitional figure from 'small Milan' to 'big Milan,' but he cannot be the linchpin of the project. He won a Scudetto and it was a sporting miracle. Objective: maintain Champions League qualification and return to the top 4. Aim for the round of 16, but a miracle is needed."
Antonio Conte is the answer for Milan's trouble, claims Michele Criscitiello
"Prescription: call Antonio Conte and secure him for the next season, bringing him in December would make no sense for the project. Conte brings charisma, self-confidence, and professionalism. Conte's crazy mentality is needed. The psychopathic patient who destroys everything if he doesn't win. We need his determination, his hunger, to be more practical and less puppets."
