The AC Milan club looking to reinforce its defence soon with a new name added to the radar (according to what is reported by Gianluca Di Marzio). However, the attacking department is also on the agenda.

The numbers for the Rossoneri have been disappointing so far; only Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao have performed well, while the new acquisitions, including Luka Jovic, have not provided the expected contribution in terms of scoring, except for Christian Pulisic.

This is why the Milan executives, in addition to Serhou Guirassy (for whom an attempt has been made), are also looking at Akor Adams, a Nigerian born in 2000 who currently plies his trade for Montpellier. He has been astounding everyone this season.

Akor adams, 23, is a centre-forward who stands at 190 centimetres tall. He has scored 7 goals in 11 matches this season in Ligue 1 for Montpellier. The AC Milan target's contract runs until the summer of 2027. The right-footed striker's value, according to Transfermarkt is set at 8 million euros.

From humble beginnings, now on AC Milan's radar...

From Nigeria to Norway: Adams, at the age of eighteen, just becoming an adult, changed his world to pursue his dream. "Football saved me", he reportedly said later; "I can't reveal everything, but I come from a very poor family. If I hadn't become a footballer, I wouldn't have been shielded from the vices that others my age fall into. This sport has given me a lot, not only materially but also hope."

From the Jamba Football Academy and his native Benue, Adams moved to Songdal. Sixteen goals and seven assists convinced Lillestrøm, which acquired him in 2021. Here, the goals increased: a total of 28 in 50 appearances. But the real leap in quality came in the summer of 2023 when Montpellier bought him, as pointed out by Di Marzio.
