Former AC Milan coach, Arrigo Sacchi, spoke to Rai ahead of the Italy U-21 retreat in Milano Marittima. Among the topics, he discussed the Rossoneri team's current form:
"Today, they are inconsistent. They get one game right, they make a mistake in another. In my opinion, there are too many foreigners. Our football is difficult; defensive. They're not accustomed, plus the food is good. There are three things here that cost nothing and allow you to be a protagonist: extraordinary motivation, high team spirit, and a game. The match can be compared to a movie plot. Have you ever seen a movie without a plot? They tried in America, and it was rejected."
Sacchi, would you still leave Rafael Leao out against Paris Saint-Germain at San Siro?
"I wanted 11 players who played with the team, for the team, all over the field and all the time. Leao had a lot on one side and little in temperament. Temperament is one of those genetic things, difficult to have. Can he be a superstar? Yes, when he plays with the team, for the team, all over the field and all the time."
