This morning, Arrigo Sacchi, as often happens, published a commentary piece in the columns of La Gazzetta dello Sport previewing the upcoming Serie A matches.
Regarding Pioli's team issues, the former AC Milan coach said:
"Milan has its ups and downs. They put in an excellent performance in the Champions League against PSG and then stumbled against Lecce after being two goals ahead, even risking a loss. There's no consistency in their performance because they lack the cohesion and necessary aggressiveness for success."
Sacchi then continued to critique their transfer market activity:
"My impression is that they've bought too many foreigners, making it complicated to harmonise so many individualities into a cohesive unit. Foreign players, as you know, need time to adapt, requiring patience and time."
