Yesterday afternoon, the groups for Euro 2024 in Germany were drawn. France, which has three players from AC Milan in its roster, will face the Netherlands, Austria, and one among Poland, Estonia, Wales, and Finland, as pointed out by Milan News.
French outlet RMC Sport, have contacted the Rossoneri striker, Olivier Giroud, and interviewed him regarding the outcome of the German draw.
The Milan striker also discusses his future with the national team.
Here are his words:
"I miss this European Championship. If we win it, I will retire. It might be the same even if we don't go all the way. I cherish every moment. I had told someone that if we had won the 2022 World Cup, I would have retired."
Giroud added:
"I am, however, thirsty for trophies with my national team. I have many hopes and ambitions. If things go well, it could be a possibility."
